StoreMax
A warehouse planning prototype for suggesting cargo placements and showing where available space does not meet a shipment's needs.
AgentField Hackathon · 7 February 2026
Cargo Placement
StoreMax takes descriptions of warehouse racks, bins, and cargo and suggests placements based on height fit and how frequently goods move. It reports capacity exceptions alongside the proposed placements, so a warehouse operator can review both the plan and what could not be accommodated.
The prototype uses simulated warehouse management system exports and records the steps of each run. A dashboard concept brings rack configuration, results, and logs into one view; the sample runs do not establish savings or performance in a working warehouse.
Coordinating Cargo Placement and Warehouse State
Ranking Bins and Checking Placements
The optimizer ranks bins using cargo height fit and turnover priority, while the manager owns warehouse state and validates placements. Separating these roles distinguishes a proposed location from a placement accepted into the warehouse plan. Capacity exceptions remain alongside the results so the operator can see which cargo still needs attention.
Warehouse Responsibilities
| Component | Responsibility |
|---|---|
| Manager | Owns warehouse state, validates placements, and coordinates runs. |
| Optimizer | Ranks bins by height fit and turnover priority. |
| Sync agent | Records events and exports warehouse state as CSV. |
| Dashboard concept | Brings rack configuration, placement results, and logs into one view. |
Recording the Run for Review
The sync agent records events and exports warehouse state as CSV, connecting the proposed placements to a record of the run. AgentField coordinates the Python agents through its control plane. The deployment design places Python execution in Cloudflare Containers and request handling in Workers, with the dashboard concept bringing configuration, results, and logs into one operator view.
